About our practice

Beacon Pain Clinic is a specialist pain management medical practice. Clinical care is provided by qualified healthcare professionals in accordance with Irish law and Medical Council of Ireland professional standards.

Acceptance

By using this website or submitting a consultation request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or online forms. GPs who upload referral documents agree that the upload is for lawful clinical referral or supporting care.

Website and online forms

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. In particular, you must not upload malware, misuse forms, attempt to access staff systems without authority, or submit false or misleading information.

• Consultation requests — The new patient registration form collects contact and clinical-context details so staff can arrange assessment. Submitting a form is a request for contact, not a confirmed appointment or guarantee of treatment.
• GP referrals — The GP referral page allows authorised clinicians to upload referral letters and supporting documents. Uploads are reviewed by clinic staff; they are not an emergency service.

Do not use online forms for medical emergencies. Call emergency services or attend an emergency department if needed.

Medical services

Treatments are based on individual clinical assessment and medical necessity. We may decline or redirect care if it is not appropriate, outside our scope, or if we cannot provide safe care. Website content is general information only and is not personal medical advice.

Appointments and cancellations

Appointments are arranged by the clinic after review of your request (and referral where required). We ask for reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Failure to give adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee where clinic policy applies. We may reschedule when clinically or operationally necessary.

Fees and payment

The consultation / assessment fee for new patients is currently €350, as acknowledged on the registration form. Other fees (procedures, follow-up, investigations) are discussed before treatment where applicable.

Payment is due as agreed with the clinic. We accept card and other methods advised at booking. Insurance cover depends on your policy and, where required, a valid GP referral. Self-pay patients may not need a referral for consultation; insurance-funded procedures typically do.

Patient and referrer responsibilities

• Provide accurate personal and medical information
• Bring or arrange relevant reports, scans, and medication lists where possible
• Attend appointments on time and follow agreed plans
• Tell us promptly about changes in your condition or contact details
• GPs: upload only documents you are authorised to share for patient care

Privacy Notice

Our Privacy Notice explains how we process personal and health data from consultation requests, GP uploads, and related clinic systems (including retention and your rights). It forms part of these Terms. Where you tick consent or acknowledgement boxes on our forms, those records support our handling of your request.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, Beacon Pain Clinic is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the website or online forms. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where applicable).

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Courts in Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.

Changes

We may update these Terms when our services or legal requirements change. The version date above will be revised when we do. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you should review this page periodically.
